It was a blessed afternoon at the UCKG Centers in Asia where our 10th secret was revealed. The meetings are hosted by the Big Sisters in each country. The hosts unveiled the 10th secret, “Hawaiian Party” exploring the importance of remaining in the presence of God.
So how do you remain in His presence you ask? Once your faith has taken root through the living water, that is the Holy Spirit, there are no barriers or gaps that can cause you to fall. Whilst problems come and go, you will have the power to defeat them. But to do this you also need to trust Him wholeheartedly. How many of us truly trust God? Do you really trust Him? Some people believe in Him but very few trust Him. To trust God means to be completely dependent on Him and that means to be confident that everything is under His control whatever the season. Despite tribulations, a person who trusts God stands firm in their faith like a tree that is rooted along the river – always remaining green and fruitful. No storm will cause them to fall or fail and so they experience continuous victory in their lives. (Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV)
In order for you to remain in His presence, you must have constant communion with Him – mind, body, soul and spirit. It is necessary to detach yourself from anything that can separate you from God. Don’t be anxious or desperate if you lose friends or loved ones just because you chose God to be first in your life; it is not the end of the world. Whilst one door closes, many more doors of opportunities will be opened for you.
Three ladies were also invited to a challenge: Who would drink a bottle of water (coconut in the Philippines) the fastest? It was a moment of joy and fun. Speaking about challenges, during the meeting, those who have been doing the Godllywood Challenge also shared their personal experiences and inspired everyone with their life-changing stories with the help of Godllywood.
That was just a summary of the topic of the meeting that blessed many to make the decision to remain and trust in the power of God. All in all the guests enjoyed the Hawaiian party theme and were dressed up in beautiful floral prints and flowers but most importantly they were touched by the strong message that they received. Come and join us next month for our next meeting. I am sure you will love it!
