Godllywood Self-help: #taskasanoffering19

Hello ladies, I miss you all,

I have been absent from here on the block but present on TV and the radio ( in Brazil), well we are going live every day on channel Rede TV ( in Brazil) at 5pm, channel 21 at 7:30pm, and on the radio station 99,3FM at 6:30am, 11:30am, 11:30pm daily, other than on Record ( in Brazil) on Saturdays at 12pm, so you guys see, right? I don’t even have time to sit at the computer to respond an email, imagine a blog.

Well; today I will pass along to you a task that I would like for you to do for three weeks. It is as follows:

 

 WHAT YOU NEED TO SACRIFICE TO BE ON GOOD TERMS WITH THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU?

 

Human beings have a tendency to look at the mistakes of others but find it very difficult to look at, to able to see. We like to be the victim, or use the excuse that we are in a way for this or that… I’m so because my parents were not present when I grew up; I’m like this because my mother was very aggressive with me; I’m like this because I had no father; I’m like this because my ex betrayed me; I am like this because nobody ever gave me love; I’m like this because I was born in a poor family, etc., etc., etc.

However you are not making up and truly something in your past has hindered life a little more for you, know that you still have the power of decision: you can decide to be who you want to be.

While you decide to be who your parents made you to be, or the situation in your childhood influenced you to be or disappointed in life, you will not be, who you need to be!

Therefore the first step toward your decision to be a different person is: sacrifice what makes you a type of person that is:

  • Embittered
  • complainer
  • needy
  • weak
  • boring
  • crybaby
  • insecure
  • aggressive
  • quiet
  • gossip Girl
  • shy
  • fearful
  • malicious
  • grumpy
  • lazy
  • disorganized
  • emotional

Make this task as an offering for yourself and to God. Do not mind if people around you deserve or not your change: you deserve!
In three weeks leave your comments here about how was this change for you. What you conquered through it. In whom you become due to it.

    This task was not easy for me as I made it a point to sacrifice the bad habits and traits. After making a self-introspection I realised that I am someone who would sometimes complain within my heart when faced with tough situations or when dealing with a difficult person. I learnt to change my attitude and to try to understand the situation or person.

    I also realised that I needed to sacrifice the character of being a tough mother to my son. I realised that I had to invest in spending time with him talking to him and trying to understand him and help him in the misconceptions that he had.

    At work I put aside the fearful person and faced my superior to discuss the matter that I had put aside for some time and I realised that sometimes being quiet, another may think that everything is well but when you speak up people understand you better and often you then get a favourable response.

    This task helps me alot because i was always i complanier when coming to do house chores also lazy because i always proposted to do things.
